Indra Mursid, MS, LPC
“As a collaborative, affirming therapist, I draw from psychodynamic, Gestalt, and systems-based approaches to help clients explore their stories, build self-compassion, and move forward with intention.”
Welcome! I enjoy working with older teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, life transitions, creativity, deconstructing religious or spiritual ideology, career decisions, relationship concerns, gender, sexuality, racial trauma, cultural identity, ADHD, and transracial adoptee/adoptee concerns. Clients who are aiming to increase their own self-awareness and self-compassion, understand how past experiences have informed their current behaviors, wanting to understand how they came to the conclusions or decisions, and navigating their intersectionality are who I enjoy working with! I generally attract clients who are creative and on the more nerdy side!
I utilize a handful of different modalities to work towards treatment goals - psychodynamic (how past experiences inform how we are today), Gestalt (bringing the past into the here-and-now to work through unfinished business), systems-based theory (how different systems - societal, professional, personal - have impacted thoughts/behaviors), and Person-Centered (client led and collaborative). I am 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming and poly-affirming. I hope that with our work together that we can build a space that invites authenticity, feedback, and exploration. I work Sundays (virtual) and Mondays.
I implement a pay-what-you-can rate starting at $95, $110, $125, $140, and $155. This is to have a conversation around what feels most affordable for you beyond income. I can provide a superbill for out-of-network benefits.
